The A-Team

"They are the best, and they specialize in the ridiculous."
Capt. Sosa

The A-Team:

Hannibal: Liam Neeson
Faceman: Bradley Cooper
B.A.: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
Murdock: Sharlto Copley

Based on the 1980's television series, The A-Team was updated for modern audiences and released in theaters on June 11th, 2010. Like The Losers, The A-Team follows the exploits of a military team done wrong.

After an extended pre-credits sequence that covers the formation of the team, we jump ahead 8 years and hundreds of missions. After an unauthorized mission goes awry the the team is tried, convicted and sent to prison. But fear not friends, just like the opening narration of the TV show states the team "promptly escapes" and sets out to clear their names and catch the people who set them up.

Director and co-writer Joe Carnahan keeps things moving, delivering well executed action scenes and brief bits of comedy. The supporting cast that includes Jessica Biel, Patrick Wilson and co-writer Brian Bloom elevate things even more.

Playing like a leaner, meaner, big budget older brother to The Losers, The A-Team proved to be a satisfying summer pop-corn flick.

Up Next: The Expendables
