Exhumed Films' 24 Hour Horror-Thon 2009 Part 4

7:00am: "Four bottles of beer on the wall, four bottles of beer..."

12th Feature: The Children (1980)

AKA The Children of Ravensback. A bus full of school children are transformed into zombie-like beings who burn anyone that they touch. Incredibly effective with a great "shocking" ending.

8:30am: "They're eating the guests, sir."

13th Feature: Piranha (1978)

The second feature of the Horror-Thon featuring man eating fish (what was the first, you ask? Do you really need to ask?). Produced by Roger Corman, scripted by John Sayles and Directed by Joe Dante.

10:00am
Short film: The Music of Erich Zann

10:15am: "Don't expect it to tango; it has a broken back. "

14th Feature: Re-Animator

Like previous years the marathon ends with a zombie film. Stuart Gordon's adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story "Herbert West: Reanimator" is an inspired piece of lunacy and a fitting end to another great Horror-Thon.
