Superman Redux

And the sordid tale continues...

Less than a week after announcing that McG was no longer directing the latest Superman movie, Warner Bros. confirmed today that Bryan Singer has agreed to helm the film that has already bested three "big" Hollywood directors.

I'm gonna have to be honest here and say that I am pretty impressed.  I never would have predicted that Mr. Singer would be the next director chosen.  After re-invigorating the super-hero genre with his two X-Men films it just isn't something that I think he would be interested in.  But considering that Superman is "The Grand Daddy" of all super-hero movies it makes sense that he would want to take a shot at it.

And I have to admit that based on Singer's previous work and his obvious love for the genre, Warner Bros. may have changed this humble blogger's opinion of the whole project. Bravo, guys.

Now if you just listen to him you might get the Superman movie that fans have been waiting years for.
