"Master of Insanity" has its roots in a Geezer Butler Band demo from the mid 80s.* The version on Dehumanizer is slightly reworked to give it that true Black Sabbath feel.
The song starts with sound effects that give way to an interesting bass riff before the whole band joins in. The song has a nice tempo and a real catchy chorus. One highlight is the great double bass work from Vinny Appice.
I'm now halfway through Dehumanzier and I'm really impressed with it so far.
Tomorrow, "Time Machine"!
* The demo can be found as part of the three disc The Complete Dehumanizer Sessions bootleg.
